Right at Home of Northern Virginia provides in-home care and assistance to seniors and disabled adults in Fairfax and Arlington Counties. 

As important as what they do for their clients is how they do it. Extending a steady hand, a bright smile, and a willingness to provide reassurance to you or your loved one, are traits you will appreciate from our staff.

The History of the Local Office:

The Northern Virginia Office of Right at Home is independently owned & operated by Mark and Colleen Turner.  The Turner family has lived in Fairfax County for over 20 years, and Colleen is a native of the County.  Colleen and Mark both are graduates of Virginia Tech.  Right at Home's success is attributable to its focus on ensuring that all Right at Home clients and their families receive the highest quality care.   

Mark Turner has been actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the agency full-time since the office opened in 2002.  During this time, Right at Home has provided quality care to nearly 2,000 clients.  Right at Home's office staff strive to match the care needs and the personalities of its clients with the skillset and personalities of its approximately 300 active caregivers.

Colleen Turner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Graduate Certification in Gerontology from George Mason University (GMU).  Colleen has a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Temple University and is a Certified Memory Impairment Specialist. In June, 2004, Colleen took a less active role in the daily activities of Right at Home to become a Geriatric Social Worker in the Elderlink Program of the Fairfax County Area Agency on Aging (AAA).   Presently, she performs case management and ongoing client care coordination for the County’s bathing and respite program.  

As one of the largest offices within the National Right at Home Franchise, the Northern Virginia office is well recognized locally.  Right at Home of Northern Virginia has an excellent reputation in the local community while receiving referrals for services from some of the most reputable healthcare providers in the metropolitan area, including:
